inSPIRE STEM USA Supporting Productive Immigration Reform & Education

inSPIRE STEM USA Executive Director Beneva Schulte Statement on National Immigration Reform Fly-In

Washington, D.C. – inSPIRE STEM USA is proud to be a part of the Americans for Reform national fly-in that will feature more than 600 leaders from across the country visiting Capitol Hill and stressing the need to reform the nation’s high-skilled immigration program. inSPIRE members will also urge members to support a national science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education fund to create an American workforce able to fill high-skill jobs, which are among the fastest-growing in the country. Immigration reform has garnered broad and bipartisan support, and Congress should ensure reform legislation, with a substantial STEM fund, passes this year.
